During autumn 2025, The Bridge Lund for Life conducted a series of intensive joint preclinical development weeks focused on advancing cell-based therapies for injured donor lungs.

Multidisciplinary teams worked closely together to evaluate therapeutic strategies aimed at restoring lung function and improving transplantability.

These collaborative sessions resulted in encouraging outcomes, demonstrating improved lung parameters and reinforcing the potential of cell therapy as a regenerative tool in donor lung optimization. The work represents an important step toward translating experimental therapies into future clinical applications.
