Team Skåne (SE)
Team Skåne consists of representatives from Sweden and is the leading partner in the project.
Sandra Lindstedt
Leading Partner/Project Manager (SE)
Professor Sandra Lindstedt, is a senior consultant in cardiothoracic surgery specializing in heart and lung transplantation, with a long-standing interest in lung transplantation-related research, post-transplant complications and lung regeneration.
Professor Lindstedt did her post-doc in Professor Steens laboratory in the early 2000s and was a part of the team who did the first clinical trial in the world using ex vivo lung perfusion on marginal donor lungs in 2005 at Lund University Hospital, Sweden. Professor Lindstedt currently holds the position as the Chair of the European Cell Therapy and Organ Regeneration Section (ECTORS) board within The European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT). Professor Lindstedt is the principal investigator for a translational research group "The Lindstedt group".
Franziska Olm
Coordinator for ATMP development within the project
Dr. Franziska Olm holds a bachelor's and master's degree in biotechnology from the Technical University of Berlin and joined the Lindstedt Lab after receiving her PhD in Biomedicine with a focus on stem cell biology and biomedical engineering from Lund University in 2020.
She has extensive experience in stem cell biology and expansion and has been driving the cell therapy research in the Lindstedt Lab. Dr. Olm has a long-standing interest in cell therapies and their translation to the clinic and will substantially contribute to the project by leading the ATMP development.
Team Hovedstaden (DK)
Team Hovedstaden consists of representatives from Denmark.
Michael Perch
Project Manager (DK)
Dr. Michael Perch obtained his MD degree from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and pursued specialized training in Internal and Pulmonary Medicine. He has made significant contributions to the Danish lung transplant program and currently serves as Program Director at Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen. Additionally, he holds the position of Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University's Department of Clinical Medicine.

Represents XVIVO in the project.
