We are proud to share that Prof. Sandra Lindstedt, Dr. Franziska Olm, Dr. Nicholas Bèchet, and Dr. Anna Niroomand represented our team at the ESOT 2025 Congress in London in early July.

This year's meeting was an excellent platform for connecting with colleagues, sharing cutting-edge science, and exploring the future of transplantation through innovation and collaboration.

Our team contributed actively to the scientific program:

  • Prof. Sandra Lindstedt delivered a talk on mitochondrial transplantation in solid organ transplantation, and an invited talk with focus on advanced therapy medicinal product (ATMP).

  • Dr. Anna Niroomand presented new data on mitochondrial transplantation in lung transplantation, highlighting its regenerative potential and translational promise.

  • Dr. Franziska Olm shared insights from her research on how different mesenchymal stem cell sources can mitigate gastric aspiration injury in donor lungs, a key challenge in donor organ optimization.

It was a highly rewarding meeting, and we are excited to bring these insights back into our research within the BRIDGE – Lungs for Life project.
