This spring, the BRIDGE – Lungs for Life project successfully completed three intensive and productive porcine experimental weeks in May and June 2025. The sessions focused on further education in machine perfusion, lung transplantation techniques, and organ regeneration, providing invaluable hands-on experience for both junior and senior team members.

These experimental weeks were not only vital for data collection and project progress, but also served as a platform for competence development and skills transfer—key pillars of the BRIDGE initiative. We continue to strengthen expertise across our multidisciplinary team, ensuring excellence in experimental design, technical execution, and clinical translation.

We are proud of the collaboration, commitment, and innovation that define the BRIDGE – Lungs for Life community, and we look forward to continued momentum in the months ahead.
